Oldwick Shepherd

The cheese that started it all…we began producing this cheese at our farm at home back in the late 90’s…and we knew we were on to something! Using the pure, raw milk from our East Friesian sheep, we begin the process of creating this classic Pecorino style gem. Molded into a 5lb. dome and aged in our Cave, we release the wheels after 4+ months, producing a semi-firm texture and a pate that is both rustic and refined. Nutty, full-bodied, and undeniably sheep! Some cheeses go well on bread, with chutney, or washed down with a fine Ale. Our Oldwick Shepherd needs none of the above. Just savor it on its own.

Shipping: Any combination of cut cheese over $130 ships free!*

*This will automatically deduct if you live in an area where this shipping deal applies. This app will automatically reject free shipping if the shipping supersedes the amount of the order.

We like to ship on Mondays & Tuesdays for the sake of the cheese. Please ask if you need a certain date or accommodations, we are very reasonable.

OUR BASKET PHILOSOPHY: WE are not a fulfillment center for a slick online gift site. We are a dairy farm. We 'shop' for your items in our store and put REAL stuff in our gift boxes. We do not stuff them with 'fluff' like big bags of $2 dry pasta, low grade flavored cheeses, plastic vac pac items or unknown weight of cheese. So whether you are sending this as a gift or to yourself or to someone else, you will be getting a bunch of high-end gourmet products right off the shelves of our farm store.
